Ethical Manufacturing

Mudd & Water is designed in our British Studio by a small dedicated team.  Manufactured in a small ethical factory on the outskirts of Deli, India. We work closely with our manufacturers throughout the design and production of each new season to source new sustainable fabrics.   We ensure that by working closely with the manufacturers all the staff within the manufacturing process are treated with respect and dignity and receive fair living wages. They also work with NGO’s community service projects to provide training and employment opportunities for women living in rural areas. As well as local team initiatives promoting sustainability.  Solar Panels have also been installed to promote energy efficiency in the manufacturing process.   Mudd & Water...

What we are up to in June

 We are a small company so we wear many hats and juggle many jobs all of the time. June is a busy month as we gear up for the start of our wholesale selling season, when we will be meeting our lovely stockists to showcase our new collections, which are then brought to you in bricks and mortar independent boutiques around the country. Many of you will have come across us on your travels, and if you haven't, we will be doing a series of features introducing you to our stockists as we travel the country doing our pop up trade shows in some beautiful locations. ECO FRIENDLY FABRICS - GOTS ORGANIC COTTON

GOTS ORGANIC COTTON Our favourite super soft organic cotton for our Lifestyle and Leisure Collections Our cotton is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified, meaning it is ecologically harvested and manufacturing is environmentally and socially responsible. Organic farmers use natural methods to grow cotton, not fossil-fuel based fertilisers.  By working with nature, using natural farming methods like crop rotation to control pests and diseases and building healthy soils which store carbon and water, organic cotton uses less resources and has a less harmful impact on the environment.
